Expect 15,000 miles if you follow "the book".
Expect lots more if you follow the advice of people who have been riding Savages a lot longer than you.
Remember; "the book" was written by the people who want to sell you replacement parts, including belts.
I put 30,000 miles (not kilometers) on my old '87 Savage; the belt showed no signs of wear.
My wife's '96 Savage has only about 5000 miles and the belt shows no signs of wear.
